Garri

Garri is derived from Cassava. It contains carbohydrate and has 100% energy to the body.
To prepare Garri
Put about 2-3 cups of water to the pot or kettle
Allow the water to boil
Get a wide plate and pour in the hot water
Add the Garri, same level with the hot water
Turn it thoroughly for about 3 minutes
Serve it on to a plate.
Note that Garri is swallowed, and to eat Garri, you must have soup.
There are several soups to eat Garri with
- Melon soup or Egusi soup
- Vegetable Soup or Edikan-Ikong
- Afan Soup
- Okro Soup
- Ogbono Soup
- Ewedu and Stew
- ETC

All the above listed soup are very good for Garri consumption, but for a person that just want to eat Garri for the first time, I prefer you eat it with Ogbono Soup because it draws, and that will allow the Garri to pass through your throat freely, but for expert Garry can be eaten with any soup.

How to prepare Ogbono Soup

Ingredients
Meat , Fish, Crayfish, Pepper, red Oil, Water, salt, vegetable live, Oghono seed, onions and magi.

Preparation
Boil fish, meat and other fish you prefer separately
Add crayfish, pepper, magi and salt to taste.
Get Ogbono Seed from any Nigerian market
Grand about 1-2 cups of Ogbono seed separately
Place a pot on the fire
Add red Oil and Ogbono together and steer.
Add about 4-cups of hot water and steer thoroughly together for about 2 minutes
Add the fish, meat you boiled and steer together with the Ogbono
Allow to boil for about 15 minutes and steer continuously
Add vegetable live, allow for 3 minutes
Taste the soup to make sure all ingredients ok.
Ogbono soup is ready to be serve.
